In the spring semester of 2022, there was a significant increase in the number of offline events comparing to the previous semesters. The JIU Sports Day, an outdoor sports event enjoyed by students and faculty members alike, was held for two days. Taking the nature of Indonesia’s weather into account, the event started in the late afternoon and continued until evening. The competition between teams intensified throughout the wide-ranging sports activities such as table tennis, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. The JIU Sports Day provided a platform where students could take their minds off their academics and embrace the community around them.
