Dear JIU Students,
We are thrilled to announce the 2025 Winter MDP Course held by Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA). The ACUCA Micro Degree Program (MDP) was created in the summer of 2022 with unanimous approval from the Executive Committee (EXCO) to fulfill the three main objectives outlined in the existing ACUCA Constitution and By-Laws at that time of the program’s inception and implementation: to develop and maintain Christian character; to enrich the quality of their educational programs and those of the other institutions of learning; and to re-examine the relevance of their objectives and programs concerning the needs of a changing society.

MDP courses will be conducted during the winter terms starting from January 27 – February 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Classes shall be 100% online and synchronous for a maximum of 30 and a minimum of 15 students. This course is free. The courses offer are as follows;
a. AI Ethics and Christian Leadership
b. Cross-Cultural Management in ASEAN
c. Forgiveness and Reconciliation: Psychological and Christian Approaches
d. GEN Z CAN LEAD (Equipping Gen Z with Gospel-Centered Leadership)
e. Social Entrepreneurship: Creating Positive Impact through Innovation

Please be noted that this course is not counted as JIU’s credit course. However, it will be a fruitful course for you to join. Moreover, if you are interested to join the course, please kindly fill the registration form through this link; Registration Link by December 13, 2024. Students can choose maximum 2 courses to join. At the end of the program, the students were awarded with Micro Degree Certificate of a particular field of concentration within the specified period and have been able to complete all the requisite courses.
