December 10, 2024, was a day filled with joy and togetherness on the JIU campus. The student Christmas celebration held at Sekolah Tunas Bangsa, Abbalove Ministry was festive, embracing the meaningful theme “Emmanuel, God With Us.” This theme conveyed the spirit of unity and the belief that happiness is always present among us.

The event opened with a drama performance, followed by a solemn worship session where the audience enthusiastically sang worship songs and listened to heartfelt messages of faith. The warm spiritual atmosphere left everyone feeling blessed.

After the worship session, the event continued with welcoming remarks from JIU’s Rector, Dr. Agus Hartadi, S.E., M.A. In his speech, he delivered an inspiring message about the importance of togetherness, love, and sharing during the Christmas season. A speech from the JIU Student Union also added to the enthusiasm and pride among the attending students.

The celebration didn’t stop there. The event transformed into a spectacular showcase of student talent! Various captivating performances were delivered by students from all year levels. From energetic freshmen to creative seniors, the stage came alive with vocal group performances, dynamic dances, and other artistic displays, giving it vibrant and joyful vibes.

One of the most anticipated moments was the door prize session! With high excitement, all participants eagerly awaited the surprise gifts. Joyful laughter and cheers filled the room as the winners’ names were announced.

More than just a celebration, this event became a moment of reflection, friendship, and strengthening bonds among JIU students.
