Bandung, February 20, 2025 – The English Literature Study Program at Jakarta International University (JIU) organized a Community Service program at SMA Paulus Bandung, aiming to introduce the university while providing an engaging English learning experience for 12th-grade students. 

The event began with a presentation about JIU, including an overview of the campus, academic programs, and the admission process for prospective students. This session provided valuable insights for students considering their higher education options. Following the introduction, JIU’s English Literature faculty led an interactive English learning session, such as speaking activities to learn about tenses in English and educational games. This approach made the learning process more dynamic and encouraged active student participation. 

Throughout the activities, students demonstrated great enthusiasm, eagerly engaging in quizzes and discussions. Many asked insightful questions about JIU, showing a keen interest in the university’s study programs and academic environment. The interactive format allowed them to practice their English skills in a fun and supportive setting, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. 

Teachers and staff from SMA Paulus Bandung also attended the event and appreciated JIU’s interactive teaching methods. They noted that this approach not only helped students grasp English concepts more effectively but also introduced them to innovative learning techniques used at the university level. The program enhanced students’ language skills while broadening their perspectives on higher education opportunities.
