Wednesday, April 23, 2025 – JIU University had the honor of welcoming the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region IV, Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum. The visit was marked by a public lecture titled “JIU Menuju Kampus Unggul Berkelas Dunia”.

The event began at 10:00 AM in the university’s main hall, starting with the Indonesian national anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” sung solemnly by all attendees. The opening speech was delivered by JIU Rector, Dr. Agus Hartadi, S.E., M.A., who expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed JIU’s commitment to enhancing its academic quality to meet international standards.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring public lecture by Dr. Lukman, who shared valuable insights on university life and the global challenges currently facing higher education institutions. He encouraged students to continuously improve their skills and embrace lifelong learning amidst rapid technological advances and global dynamics.

“Today’s students must be visionary, proactive in seeking opportunities, and able to compete on a global scale,” said Dr. Lukman. He also touched on the growth of the education sector in Indonesia and emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and educational institutions in promoting innovation and academic excellence.

Before returning, the LLDIKTI team was given a short campus tour to observe firsthand the development and readiness of JIU in providing high-quality education.
