On October 1–2, 2026, the K-EDUPLEX community, including MCLC, CGA, Jakarta International University (JIU), and staff members, gathered for LIFE Day 2026. The event focused on the four core values of K-EDUPLEX: Love, Integrity, Faithfulness, and Excellence. Through this gathering, participants were encouraged to understand these values and consider how they could apply them in their daily lives.
Instead of learning about the values through explanations alone, participants took part in mini-games and interactive activities. Each activity was designed to connect the meaning of LIFE with real-life situations. By working together and completing different challenges, participants had opportunities to reflect on their choices, attitudes, and relationships with others.
Love (Kasih) “I Make Room for Others”
Love is expressed through caring for others, showing hospitality, and being willing to forgive. Rooted in truth and grace, it reminds us to treat people with kindness and make them feel accepted.
The message “I Make Room for Others” encouraged participants to welcome others and recognize that everyone deserves to feel included. Through the activities, participants were reminded that love can be shown through simple actions, such as helping someone, listening to others, or making space for people with different backgrounds and perspectives. These small actions can help create a community where people feel valued and cared for.
Integrity (Integritas) “I Choose What Is Right”
Integrity means choosing honesty and doing what is right, even when it is not the easiest option. It reflects a commitment to God’s truth and the responsibility to protect the trust others place in us.
With the message “I Choose What Is Right,” participants were encouraged to think about the decisions they make and the reasons behind them. The activities highlighted the importance of being honest, taking responsibility, and staying true to what is right, even when there is no one around to see their actions. Integrity is not only about making the right choice in big situations; it is also reflected in the small decisions we make every day.
Faithfulness (Kesetiaan) “I Keep Going”
Faithfulness is about trusting God, keeping promises, and remaining committed to the responsibilities and purposes entrusted to us. It also means being patient and continuing to move forward when things become difficult.
The message “I Keep Going” reminded participants that challenges are part of the journey, but they do not have to be the reason to give up. Through the mini-games, participants were encouraged to practice perseverance, dependability, and commitment. The activities also served as a reminder that faithfulness can be seen in the way we fulfill our responsibilities and support others, even when the process requires extra effort.
Excellence (Keunggulan) “I Make It Better”
Excellence means giving our best in the work we do and continually looking for ways to improve. It involves diligence, responsibility, and a willingness to learn, with the purpose of honoring God through our actions.
Through the message “I Make It Better,” participants were encouraged to focus on progress rather than perfection. The activities demonstrated the importance of learning from mistakes, paying attention to details, and finding better ways to complete a task. Excellence does not mean that everything must be perfect from the beginning. Instead, it means being willing to grow, take responsibility, and make improvements along the way.
Bringing LIFE into Everyday Actions
LIFE Day 2026 gave the K-EDUPLEX community an opportunity to explore the four core values through shared experiences. The mini-games made the learning process more engaging while encouraging participants to work together, face challenges, and reflect on the meaning behind each value.
More importantly, the lessons from LIFE Day extend beyond the event itself. Love can be practiced by making others feel welcome. Integrity can be demonstrated by choosing what is right. Faithfulness can be shown by keeping promises and continuing through difficulties. Excellence can be reflected in the effort to learn, grow, and improve.
Ultimately, LIFE Day was a reminder that these values become meaningful when they are put into action. As members of the K-EDUPLEX community return to their daily routines, they are encouraged to carry these lessons into their studies, work, and relationships with others.
By making room for others, choosing what is right, keeping going, and making things better, each member can contribute to a community where Love, Integrity, Faithfulness, and Excellence are not just words, but values that are lived out every day.
