On April 1, 2022, JIU welcomed the YWAM-Tyler outreach team from Texas. Actually, they planned to visit Indonesia last year. However, the condition of Indonesia relating to COVID-19 made it difficult to access visas and got tight protocols following their arrival from abroad. Thank God, the pandemic is calmed down and the conditions are better so that they can come to Indonesia. The team consisted of three leaders and eight members.
During their month-long stay at the JIU campus from April 1st, the team held an English Camp which was useful for the students. Through sessions in this camp the students learned correct pronunciation, reading, vocabulary and writing with fun and encouraging. The team also participated in weekly worship service. They shared their experience the God’s love during their journey of life.
