March 4, 2025 – Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to evolve rapidly, particularly in its application on cloud-based platforms. Recognizing the importance of a deep understanding of this technology, the Information Technology & Information System Department of Jakarta International University (JIU) organized a seminar titled “AI That Scales on the Cloud”, featuring an expert speaker from Google Singapore, Mr. Keetaek Park.
The seminar commenced at 8:00 AM, opened by Ms. Gloria Pratiwi Waang, S.E., M.B.A. as the moderator, and preceded by an opening prayer led by Mr. Oh Jin Park, Ph.D. The event was attended by students from various departments, particularly those from IT and IS, who showed strong enthusiasm for the advancements in AI technology.
During the main session, the seminar delved into how AI can scale optimally with the support of cloud computing. With cloud-based infrastructure, AI can efficiently manage vast amounts of data, enhance computational efficiency, and accelerate innovation across various industries.
Key topics discussed included cloud-based AI architecture, Machine Learning, data security, and challenges in managing large-scale AI systems. The presentation provided valuable insights into how global tech companies implement AI on a large scale through cloud platforms.
Following the presentation, the seminar continued with an interactive Q&A session, where students actively participated by asking insightful questions regarding AI trends, career opportunities in AI and cloud computing, as well as ethical considerations in AI development. The discussion provided a deeper understanding of how AI and cloud computing are shaping the future of technology.
As the event concluded, Mr. Keetaek Park was presented with a token of appreciation from JIU as a gesture of gratitude for sharing his expertise and valuable insights.
