As part of its commitment to strengthening academic and research collaborations, Jakarta International University (JIU) carried out an official visit to i3L University in Jakarta on Thursday, September 25, 2025. The visit was part of JIU’s broader initiative to build strong academic partnerships with leading institutions in Indonesia and beyond.
The purpose of this visit was to provide representatives from JIU’s Office of Research and Community Service and the Academic Adviser team with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the academic environment and research focus at i3L University. With both universities sharing a common vision of advancing education and research excellence, the meeting created a platform for constructive discussions on future collaborations.
Particular attention was given to potential partnerships in the fields of Sustainable (Industrial) Biotechnology and Industrial Business Management. These areas represent key drivers of innovation and are increasingly important in addressing global challenges related to sustainability, industry growth, and business development. JIU sees these potential collaborations as an opportunity to empower both faculty and students, while also contributing to meaningful research outcomes that can impact society.
The JIU delegation consisted of Prof. Oh Jin Park, Ph.D, Mr. Taehyun Kim, Ph.D, Dr. Yustinus Yuniarto, S.S., M.M, and Ms. Sarah Wenda, B.Sc. Their participation reflected the university’s dedication to building strong institutional relationships and its belief in the importance of international cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the Rector of i3L University, Ms. Katherine, S.T., Ph.D., and the leadership team. The discussions focused not only on academic collaboration but also on creating opportunities for student and faculty exchange, joint seminars, and collaborative research projects. Both universities expressed optimism that this visit would become the foundation for long-term cooperation.
