Jakarta, January 20, 2026 – Jakarta International University (JIU) officially marked a new chapter in campus leadership through its 2026 Student Union Inauguration Ceremony. The event celebrated the achievements of the Cresifam Veritas Cabinet (2024–2025) while welcoming the newly appointed Lev Shomea Cabinet for the upcoming term.

The ceremony served as both a moment of appreciation and a symbol of transition. The Cresifam Veritas Cabinet was recognized for its dedication to strengthening student engagement, organizing impactful programs, and fostering unity across campus. Throughout their term, they contributed significantly to building a more active and collaborative student community at JIU.

The Lev Shomea Cabinet is led by Lubiyani Tiiyo, an English Literature major, and Fadhil R., an Information Technology student. Together, they bring a combination of strong communication skills and technological expertise to their leadership roles.

A highlight of the Student Union Inauguration was the reading of the official Work Mandate Letter by Rector Agus Hartadi. In his address, he emphasized that student leadership is rooted in integrity, unity, and service. He encouraged the new cabinet to lead with responsibility, collaborate effectively, and remain attentive to the needs of the student body.

The mandate reading symbolized the formal transfer of responsibility from the previous cabinet to the new leadership team. It also reinforced JIU’s commitment to developing strong student governance and meaningful campus involvement.
