We are proud to announce that Lubiyani Tiiyo, a sophomore student from the English Literature Department, has been crowned the Grand Winner of Duta Pemuda Bangsa 2026 in the Female Category, representing Central Sulawesi.

The competition, fully sponsored by Yayasan Pendidikan Arunika Bangsa and themed “Berkolaborasi Membangun Bangsa” (Collaborating to Build the Nation), was held in its 1st Edition across two evenings at the Diamond Room, Hotel Grand Surabaya. The event commenced with Malam Bakat on Friday, May 29, 2026, followed by the grand Malam Puncak on Saturday, May 30, 2026, both beginning at 19.00 WIB.

Duta Pemuda Bangsa is a prestigious national youth ambassador competition that selects outstanding young Indonesians who demonstrate strong leadership qualities, a commitment to community service, and the ability to represent their region with integrity and purpose. Participants were evaluated across multiple stages, testing their talent, knowledge, communication skills, and vision for the future of Indonesia’s youth.

Lubiyani Tiiyo emerged as the top winner in the Female Category, standing out among competitors from across the country through her exceptional representation of Central Sulawesi. Her achievement not only brings honor to her home region, but also reflects the quality of education and character development that JIU strives to provide for every student.
