From September 27 to October 5, 2026, Leonardo Mangu Namaola, S.IP., represented Jakarta International University (JIU) in Ambon, combining community service activities with admission outreach to introduce JIU to prospective students and local communities.
The visit focused on building meaningful connections with local communities while sharing information about JIU, its academic programs, and the educational opportunities available to prospective students. Through direct engagement and conversations with young people, the visit provided an opportunity to introduce the university and help them gain a better understanding of the possibilities available for their future education.
In addition to admission outreach, the visit also emphasized the importance of community involvement and building relationships beyond the university environment. By engaging directly with the local community, JIU aimed to create a positive connection while encouraging young people to recognize their potential, explore their interests, and consider pursuing higher education.
The visit also reflects JIU’s commitment to extending its presence beyond Jakarta and making higher education opportunities more accessible to communities across Indonesia. Through initiatives like this, JIU seeks to strengthen relationships with different regions, support educational awareness, and encourage more young people to take steps toward achieving their academic and personal goals.
Through this visit to Ambon, Jakarta International University hopes to continue building meaningful connections with local communities while inspiring the next generation to explore new opportunities through education.
