February 21, 2025 – Jakarta International University (JIU) had the privilege of visiting Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) for a benchmarking session focused on Research and Community Service, Quality Assurance, and Student Affairs. This visit aimed to exchange knowledge and best practices between both institutions, strengthening academic and operational strategies.

The JIU delegation, represented by Mr. Alfred Tenggono, S.Kom., M.Kom., Mr. Andrias Yulianto, S.Pd., M.A., Mr. Yustinus Yuniarto., S.S., M.M., and Mr. Daniel Sbastian, S.Pd., M.Li., was warmly welcomed by the UPJ team, which included Professor Edi Purwanto, Dr. Ronald, Dr. Gita, Ms. Fitria, and Mr. Teguh. Their hospitality set the stage for an engaging and insightful discussion on various aspects of university management and development.

During the session, both teams shared their approaches to Research and Community Service, discussing strategies for fostering impactful research and community engagement programs. The conversation also covered Quality Assurance, where UPJ and JIU exchanged experiences in maintaining academic excellence and ensuring continuous improvement in teaching and learning standards.

In the Student Affairs segment, discussions revolved around student engagement, development programs, and initiatives to enhance student experiences both academically and socially. The teams explored potential collaborations that could benefit students from both institutions, such as joint programs, student exchanges, and shared learning resources.

The visit provided valuable insights and opened doors for future partnerships. Both JIU and UPJ expressed enthusiasm for continued collaboration, recognizing the potential to support each other in achieving institutional goals.
