January 15, 2025 – SMA Kristen Nasional Anglo paid a memorable visit to Jakarta International University, combining donation activities and an Open House event designed to inspire and inform students about higher education opportunities.
The event commenced at 9:00 AM, led by Miss Sarah Wenda as the master of ceremonies. Following an opening prayer, she extended a warm welcome to the 12th-grade students and accompanying teachers. The agenda kicked off with a presentation by Mr. Samuel Agus Setiawan, Manager of Admissions and Marketing at JIU, who introduced the institution’s unique advantages and offerings. Students and teachers engaged actively during a Q&A session, seeking deeper insights into JIU’s programs and facilities.
As part of the visit, SMA Kristen Nasional Anglo students also participated in an Entrance Test, further showcasing their eagerness to explore educational opportunities at JIU. A highlight of the event was the donation ceremony, where JIU provided support for the school’s teaching and learning activities. Mr. Paul Oh, representing the Foundation Duranno Indonesia, and Dr. Agus Hartadi, S.E., M.A. JIU’s Rector, delivered heartfelt remarks. This was reciprocated by a speech from Mr. Juwana Agung Prabowo, the principal of SMA Kristen Nasional Anglo, who expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and valuable partnership.
The students then embarked on an exciting Campus Tour, guided by JIU’s Student Ambassadors. They explored various facilities, including the library and dormitory, and engaged actively with the ambassadors to learn more about campus life and the vibrant academic environment at JIU.
The visit concluded with lunch at JIU’s cafeteria, where students had a first-hand experience of campus dining. The joyful interactions and engaging activities left a lasting impression, marking the end of a meaningful visit.
