On April 1, 2022, JIU welcomed YWAM-Tyler outreach team from Texas. Actually they planned to visit Indonesia last year. However, the condition of Indonesia relating to the Covid-19 made them difficult to access visa and got tight protocol following the arrival from abroad. Thank God, the pandemic is calm down and the condition is better so that they could come to Indonesia. The team consisted three leaders and eight members.

During their month-long stay at the JIU campus from April 1st, the team held an English Camp which was useful for the students. Through sessions in this camp the students learned correct pronunciation, reading, vocabulary and writing with fun and encouraging. The team also participated in weekly worship service. They shared their experience the God’s love during their journey of life.
