Dear JIU Members,
We hereby convey the announcement regarding K-Eduplex's 12th Anniversary-Family Day Event; As JIU is one of the core members of K-eduplex, therefore, JIU wil actively participate in the any K-eduplex events.
K-eduplex Family Day is an event for all JUI Faculty and Staff members. This event will be held on:

Day/ Date: Friday, September 13th, 2024
Time: During working hours
Place: Sports Centre Deltamas

Due to this event all class activities will be dismissed, we hope the lecturers and students can discussed for doing a make-up class to replace the class in this Friday.

Dear Students, You have been learning for years and it is a time to officially announce the information regarding your judicium and commencement ceremony. The day and date of 4th judicium and 3rd commencement ceremony will be in August 7, 2024. Enable to join the judicium and commencement ceremony students must complete the registration form of judicium and commencement ceremony. Therefore, we inform you an important information regarding the registration of judicium and commencement ceremony as follows:
Registration date : June 1-14, 2024
Register to : Academic Affairs (Bobby Samuel Pandiangan)
Place : Academic Affairs Office
It has been decided that student who is late in submitting the registration form of judicium and commencement will not be allowed to join the judicium and commencement ceremony. Moreover, please be noted that the registration form of judicium and commencement ceremony will only be given to student who have passed minimum 144 courses and have completed all the internship and thesis or final project requirements. Whitin this announcement we send you other two announcements regarding the timeline of internship and thesis or final project that must be highlighted.

Dear Students,
We believe that this internship program will be a valuable learning experience for students to apply their knowledge in a workplace setting.
Therefore, an internship is one of the crucial programs that must be implemented.

Within this letter, we would like to announce to you some important information.
To be able to join the judicium and commencement ceremony in August, students should have passed the internship program.
Hence, please highlight that all senior students are required to start the internship program on March 22nd, 2024 by the latest.

If the internship company had not been found yet and the Internship Agreement Form had not been submitted to Academic Affairs by the date mentioned above, students would have not been able to register for the judicium and commencement ceremony.

Thesis or Final Project Timeline

Thesis or Final Project Timeline

Dear Students,
We believe that the thesis or final project will be a valuable learning experience in your academic journey. Therefore, a thesis or final project is one of the crucial courses that must be passed.
The thesis or final project is one of the requirements to register for judicium and commencement ceremony. Therefore, it is important for the students to finalize the thesis or final project at the time given.

Please read the information provided and mark the important date.
English Literature
a. Seminar proposal must be done around March 25-28, 2024.
b. Thesis defense and re-defense must have been passed around May 20-24, 2024.
c. After the thesis defense declares passed, the student must find a publisher with SINTA to
d. Students who still continue making research papers are required to get LoA from around June 10-13, 2024 at the latest.
e. Students who cannot finalize the thesis or research paper at the deadline given will not be able to register for the judicium or join the commencement ceremony.

Accounting
a. Thesis defense or re-defense (if any) must have been passed by May 14-18, 2024.
b. After the thesis defense is declared passed and the revision has been done, the student must submit the hardcover to the librarian by May 31, 2024, at the latest.
c. Students who cannot finalize the thesis by the deadline given will not be able to register for the judicium or join the commencement ceremony.

Japanese Literature
a. Seminar proposal must be done by March 28, 2024.
b. The thesis defense and re-defense (if any) must be done by May 31, 2024.
c. After the thesis defense is declared passed and the revision has been done, the student must submit the hardcover to the librarian by June 14, 2024, at the latest.
d. Students who cannot finalize the thesis at the deadline given will not be able to register for the judicium or join the commencement ceremony.

Notification of Rescheduling JIU’s 4th Judicium and 3rd Commencement Ceremony

Dear Students,
In preparing for student graduation, there are many important things that are taken into consideration by university boards.
Therefore, changes may occur at any time depending on the needs and policies taken together.

Referring to the letter No: 508/JIU/ACD/III/2024 is mentioned the 4th judicium and 3rd commencement ceremony will be held on August 7, 2024. 
This ceremony date is canceled and rescheduled to August 9, 2024.
Moreover, for the Harvest Evening will be held on August 8, 2024. 

Please carefully pay attention to these date changes to avoid misinformation.
Even though the 4th judicium and 3rd commencement is rescheduled, there is no changes in the registration date of judicium and commencement ceremony.
It will be opened on June 1, 2024, and closed on June 14, 2024.
